Software Development Engineer – Front End
Our Front-end engineers are building the user experience of the world’s first Labor operating system. We’re solving an entirely new class of problems as we figure out how to break down complex tasks and link distributed individuals together. Some of the aspects we’re looking for:
- Develops high-quality, concise XHTML & CSS
- Writes self-documenting javascript
- Strong understanding of JQuery and Rails.
- Thinks asynchronously and knows cross-domain scripting inside and out
- Has built and successfully deployed a cross-browser, cross-domain front-end IA
- Understands the nuance of UI vs. UX, JavaScript vs. ECMAScript, HTML vs. XHTML
- Excellent empathy for end users and their usability needs
- Great design sense
